A pupil from South Walney Junior School showed her passion for performance on one of the greatest world stages when she secured a finalist spot at the prestigious Poetry By Heart competition.

Members of South Walney Junior School Council have been working with Polly from Westmorland and Furness Council to share their ideas for the new playground at Biggar Bank.

Pupils enjoyed the annual school trip to London, taking in sights including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye and visit to the magical Harry Potter World.
