School council’s beach vision

Members of South Walney Junior School Council have been working with Polly from Westmorland and Furness Council to share their ideas for the new playground at Biggar Bank.

The children came up with some brilliant suggestions – from fun and imaginative play equipment to ideas that make the space welcoming for everyone. Staff said their creativity shone through and they worked well together as a team.

Polly was really impressed by the children’s enthusiasm and thoughtful ideas. Everyone is looking forward to seeing how their contributions help shape the new playground for our community to enjoy.
